Why are you so surprised that most African Americans are in the position they are in modern society? From centuries before, up until the 1960's (1990's in south Africa's case), your ancestors held most other races in captivity, slavery, 2nd class citizenship, and,denied them the right to vote, excluding them from the government, denying them of decent employment prospects etc, and after all of this you expect them to prosper? The problem with that kind of recent history is that the damage, and disadvantage, has been done and will take generations and generations to clear. That's like chaining someone up in a basement for 50 years, and giving them one loaf of bread every 2 weeks, then, suddenly inviting them to have a couple drinks at the bar, ignoring the fact that you held him/her captive for a long period of time, while mentally and physically ruining his/her life in the process. So like I said..... what more do you expect? It makes no sense to me, just like people that act like the murder rate statistics of African Americans compare to the near SLAUGHTER of a whole race of Native Americans (Who are INDIGENOUS PEOPLE, which makes America a STOLEN country just in case any of you forgot),The meaningless death of African slaves, and African Americans during segregation and slavery, and don't get me started on Hitler..........
